Grants

Opening Doors PTA provides mini grants to support the work of Belmont-Redwood Shores School District special education teachers, general education teachers, occupational therapists, behavior therapists/aides, speech therapists, and paraeducators. 

 

Funds are intended for professional training or educational materials related to inclusion, PBIS, or special education.

Opening Doors PTA mini grants are available to community members and nonprofit organizations that serve children with special needs in the Peninsula Bay Area.

 

Mini grants are intended for parent education, education resources, support groups, therapeutic services, and social events for children and families with special needs. Such activities or events must be made available to Opening Doors PTA members.
